A hearty ruby red, the Toscana Tignanello 2020 is bold and structured, soft and dense with dark cherries, green and black pepper with a hint of hibiscus. Decanted you get notes of plum, fig, and chocolate mousse. Long and harmonious, on the palate the wine is rich and vibrant with silky tannins. Pairs great with grilled steak, roast beef, rack of lamb, lamb shank, osso bucco and sharp cheddar.
Scipio 2017, Tenuta Settecieli
The Tenuta Settecieli Toscana Scipio 2017 is exquisitely blended from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Peppery spice on the nose along with blackberry liqueur like fruit and cigar box spice. Fine herbs, minty notes. A big and chewy wine with a lot of tannins. With a juicy palate and tart finish, this wine pairs well with cured meat, beef, lamb, veal and poultry. Pure Cabernet Franc, only made in exceptional years. Only 3750 bottles. 91 point rating.
Langhe Nebbiolo 2020, Batasiolo
The Langhe Nebbiolo 2020, Batasiolo is a deep ruby red colour that acquires garnet tinges with age. It is intense and delicate with hints of ripe fruit, spicy notes with subtle floral nuances. This wine is full bodied, tannic and pleasantly cool. It has good intensity and persistence. Pairs weel with beef, lamb or poultry.
L’Insieme Vino Rosso 2015, Elio Altare

The 2018 Pietradonice, a varietal Cabernet Sauvignon from the southeast of Montalcino reveals aromas of blackberry, plum, dark chocolate, mushroom, earth and five spice. Full-bodied with fine tannins. Chewy and structured on the palate. Balances, layered and well defined. Long savory finish. Pairs well with beef, poultry, veal or cured meats.
Barolo Vigneto Gattera 2011, Mauro Veglio
Fragrant and bright, this Barolo Vigneto Gattera 2011, Mauro Veglio offers aromas of rose, iris, perfumed berry and a balsamic note. The palate is still rather closed, offering raw red cherry, star anise and chopped sage alongside tightly knit tannins and brisk acidity. It still needs time to come together. 90 point rating.

Donna Lisa Riserva 2019, Leone De Castris
A wine of an intense red with garnet coloured hints, the Donna Lisa Riserva 2017, Leone De Castris is made of Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera. Rich, intense, smooth on entry with a building structure of zesty acidity and firm tannins. Spice and fruit interplay with a savory herbal note. In the mouth, it is rounded and full with a strong but never intrusive tannin and a long-lasting finish. Very good with roasts and ripe cheese.

Expertly blended from 100% Pinot Nero grapes, the Lunelli Pinot Nero Maso Montalto boasts fine perfumes of fruits, blackcurrants, blackberries, cherries and raspberries with traces of spice from the wood. Well-balanced, warm with a concentrated structure and elegant tannins, fruity sensations and fascinating spicy hints with a long-lasting palate. This wine is best served at 18° C, it is an excellent aperitif and pairs well with aged cheese, game and roasts.
Pinot Nero 2022, Serafini & Vidotto
The Serafini & Vidotto Pinot Nero is distinctly burgundy, with a taste of pomegranate which gives transparency and elegant texture. Nose dominated by mature raspberries, woodland strawberries and tamarind - followed by a soft flowery note of violets and cyclamen.
