Featuring a dark ruby color, the Toscana Solaia, Antinori 1997 has extremely ripe raisin and spice aromas. Full-bodied and very chewy, with loads of polished tannins and a long, long finish. Pairs well with Beef and Venison. A Cabernet Sauvignon blend which also contains Sangiovese and a dash of Cabernet Franc. 7000 cases made. "The best wine from the best vintage ever in Tuscany." W.S. Bolgheri Rosso Superiore Ornellaia 2001, Tenuta dell’Ornellaia
With dark ruby garnet and purple reflections, the Bolgheri Ornellaia 2001 is Incredible class, with ultrafine tannins and layers of currants, berries and lightly toasted oak. Full-bodied, yet in harmony and beauty. Beautifully sculptured and excellent length this wine goes well with rib-eye steak, Pauillac lamb and grilled steak with au poivre sauce. 93 point rating.
Bolgheri Rosso Superiore Ornellaia 1998, Tenuta dell’Ornellaia
Very sophisticated and reserved, the Bolgheri Rosso Superiore 1998 Cabernet Sauvignon blend displays deep ruby-garnet in colour with purple reflections. A cool and sleek Tuscan red, with tarragon and fresh sage aromas, blackberry and cherry undertones. Full-bodied, with a wonderfully silky palate of fine tannins and a long, fruity finish. Great with meat cuisines. 93 point rating.
Barolo Vigneto Gattera 2011, Mauro Veglio
Fragrant and bright, this Barolo Vigneto Gattera 2011, Mauro Veglio offers aromas of rose, iris, perfumed berry and a balsamic note. The palate is still rather closed, offering raw red cherry, star anise and chopped sage alongside tightly knit tannins and brisk acidity. It still needs time to come together. 90 point rating.
Maso Montalto 2020, Lunelli
Expertly blended from 100% Pinot Nero grapes, the Lunelli Pinot Nero Maso Montalto boasts fine perfumes of fruits, blackcurrants, blackberries, cherries and raspberries with traces of spice from the wood. Well-balanced, warm with a concentrated structure and elegant tannins, fruity sensations and fascinating spicy hints with a long-lasting palate. This wine is best served at 18° C, it is an excellent aperitif and pairs well with aged cheese, game and roasts.
Primitivo Barbatto 2018, Tenuta Chiaromonte
Made with Primitivo grapes, the Tenuta Chiaromonte Primitivo Barbatto 2018 features dense aromas with medium dark red violet fruits chocolate and baked berries. The taste is in concert with the nose, even. This red wine is full-bodied, well-balanced and smooth with a finish of cacao and almond, it pairs well with beef, poultry, lamb, pasta and aged hard cheese. Limited production. 93 point rating.

Featuring a ruby red fine tonality and intensity, the Fattoria di Felsina Chianti Riserva 2017 is exquisitely blended from Sangiovese grapes to produce spicy nose with notes of blossoms and mineral tones. Notes of spice and crisp fruit on the palate, with self-confident but supple tannins. Impressive structure and well-balanced this wine pairs well with beef, veal and poultry.
