The tannins texture in thick and consistent, silky and round, the finish is of rare persistence, suggesting a remarkable aging potential. With dense tannins and a sweet persistence, this wine pairs well with grilled meat, game and aged cheeses. Aged in oak barrels 18 months, this 2000 vintage was the first produced. The name comes from the very rich stone found in the earth. 94 point rating.
